Meet the Team

  • Lee

    Director

Lee is tasked with managing the business day to day keeping the business moving forward and also our fault-finding diagnostic and electric/hybrid technician.

He started working on cars at around 8 years old on weekends and during school holidays and has been hooked ever since. He is our very own car geek and has a thirst for knowledge. Lee is constantly training or studying to stay ahead of the field.  Lee spends his spare time with his family watching superhero films with his boys or being dragged around shops by Lou. The best part of Lee’s job is passing difficult jobs onto Ryan.

  • Ryan

    Workshop Technician

Ryan has been a vital member of the A team since he joined in 2012 and has developed into a skilled tech with a keen eye for detail.

He takes care of most of the servicing, timing belts and general workshop duties as well as sharing some of the heavy-duty jobs with Peter. His experience makes him number 1 for repairs on VW, Audi and BMW  (well number 2 if we include Lee). Unfortunately, Ryan can’t make tea so we gave up asking him. His hobbies include spending time with his young family, playing poker with his friends and listening to some really strange music. He says the best thing about his job is working with Lee and would probably do it for free.

  • Peter

    Retired

Peter started the business in 1986 working from a small workshop in the town carrying out service and repair work, he’s seen the cars change over the years from the days he was replacing points and adjusting carburettors to the electronics and control units on modern cars and now hybrid and electric vehicles.

Peter is the heavy artillery of the A team often tasked with such jobs as replacing BMW x5 engines or a rebuild on a V10 Audi as well as routine service and repairs. Peter is also the reason we have a clean and tidy workshop, often found cracking the whip if oil isn’t cleaned up or equipment put away. Outside of Autotec Northwest, Peter enjoys keeping Koi and tropical fish and maintaining his pond.

  • Marie

    Receptionist

Marie is our receptionist and is definitely the warm heart of the A-Team.

As Peter’s wife she’s always there to keep him in check and as Lee’s mum she’s always there running after him with a plaster and making sure he’s got his coat on when he goes outside. Marie manages the day-to-day of the A-Team and is always on hand to make a nice brew! She greets all our customers with a warm smile and friendly face.

Outside of Autotec Northwest, Marie is a loving mother to Lee and Danielle and grandmother to 5 grandkids and loves spending time with her family.

  • Lou

    Reception & Social Media

Lou is the A-Team’s multi-media guru. She runs our reception and all our social media and website, including advertising and marketing business.

Outside of Autotec, Lou is a mother to Luke, Lewis, stepson Oscar, a tiny miniature dachshund, Cleo, and extra large Dogue De Bordeaux, Steeno (aka Ste)! Lou also has a degree in Counselling and psychotherapy which she says she needs to live with Lee and also runs her own private practice, Reflection Therapy. She enjoys days off spending time with the family and dragging Lee around the shops, also bossing him around doing the odd jobs at home.
